Attica

Restaurant: Attica
Comments: I had high expectations for this place as it was so highly rated everywhere. The produce was sourced locally and definitely very fresh, however I found most the dishes to be fairly underwhelming in terms of flavour and taste. My favourite dishes would be the blue mussels and the King George whiting. This degustation was $195 (not including the 10% service charge that we were not aware of). We were also taken to the back of the restaurant for some shaved ice and to see some of the herbs they grew in their garden, which was pretty cool.

  1. I'm really jealous! I love Ben Shewry's whole ethos and his approach to food, I couldn't get a booking last time we went to Melbourne, so I'll have to try again next time :)
